Training with David Kolton has been the best investment I have done for myself and my health. My story starts from when I was very young. I have been overweight literally my entire life. It didn’t help growing up in an ethnic family, where “food is love” and everything revolves around family dinners feasting together. By the time I was entering college at 5 feet 2 inches and over 200 pounds, needless to say, it was time for me to make a drastic lifestyle change.
I began training with David, having a very limited knowledge base of how to work out, and a big goal in mind … to lose 70 pounds and be healthy. David really loves what he does and helping people to reach their goals. He is very enthusiastic and motivating each and every workout and wants his clients to be successful in reaching their goals. He starts by explaining and teaching the science behind certain exercises and how they work different muscles, this was helpful in learning how to really make the most of my workout and time at the gym. David also helped me to get my eating right so I was never dieting, but rather, had a lifestyle change … something I would always be able to maintain.
It was A LOT of hard work but I was seeing results each time we had weigh-in and measurements done. After about 2 years of continuously working hard and training with David, I reached my goal. I lost 70 pounds and went from a size 18/20 to a 6/8.
The best part of all is that because of what I learned with David, I have maintained and been able to keep it off for the last 6 years. To this day I continue to see results with more inches off my body, but more importantly, my overall improved health!
